Delhi Capitals (DC) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the second qualifier of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday to reached the final of the tournament for the first time. It was a brilliant performance from both the teams on the day but the Capitals didn’t sulk at a crucial juncture and won the game by 17 runs in the end. Marcus Stoinis was named the Man of the Match for his exceptional all-round display for DC.
Though the action in the middle was tense with a place in the final at stake, the captains of both teams, Shreyas Iyer and David Warner were seen getting involved in a hilarious incident at the toss before the match. Mark Nicholas was the presenter in the middle for the toss who was interviewing the skippers and when DC won the toss, he asked Iyer about the changes in the team.

The Capitals had made two changes for the crucial game as Prithvi Shaw and Daniel Sams made way for Shimron Hetmyer and Praveen Dubey. Hilariously though Shreyas Iyer forgot the second player they included in the playing XI after winning the toss. This is when Warner jumped in and informed his counterpart about the changes made in the Capitals’ lineup.
The SRH skipper knew about the changes as both the captains often share the team information with each other just before the toss and accordingly, Warner was able to help Shreyas Iyer even as it was all smiling in the middle.
