In a video shared by the IPL official Twitter handle, David Warner could be seen running towards Bhuvneshwar and hilariously touching his feet before hugging him. Seeing Warner’s antics, Bhuvneshwar and Ishant Sharma couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Here is the video of the incident:

David Warner played for SRH for seven seasons between 2014 and 2021 (barring 2018 when he suffered a ban) and even led them to an IPL title in 2016. The southpaw scored runs quite consistently for his franchise as he won the coveted Orange Cap thrice playing for SRH in 2015, 2017, and 2019.

His successful run with the ‘Orange Army’ ended after the 2021 season when SRH finished at the bottom of the points table and Warner was seen warming the bench, following which he was bought by Delhi Capitals in the following season. The southpaw was picked up by the Delhi-based franchise at the mega auction in 2022 for INR 6.25 Crore.
