From a decent start against Punjab Kings (PBKS), SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) has gone on to have an incredible one in their ongoing clash in Chennai. SunRisers’ skipper, David Warner can never be kept out of the limelight and he garnered a lot of eyeballs with his brilliant throw for a direct hit, which ran out, Nicholas Pooran for a third duck in the fourth game.

Bullseye from David Warner at the stumps meant that Nicholas Pooran had to head back to the pavilion without facing a ball. The dismissal occurred in the eighth over when Chris Gayle, who was at the striker’s end nudged to extra cover and ran. Warner was quick to reach towards teh balls and fired a throw, as the ball took a bounce before hitting the stumps.

Pooran, who batted at number four for the first time in IPL 2021, departed for a diamond duck. Simultaneously, it was also Nicholas Pooran’s third duck of the edition in as many as four games. Ahead of a crucial tie for both sides, they carried out massive changes. SRH decided to drop Manish Pandey and drafted in veteran batsman Kedar Jadhav, as Kane Williamson came in for Mujeeb Ur Rahman.

The third change was Abdul Samad had to make way for Siddharth Kaul due to injury. On the other hand, Punjab Kings dropped both Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith and decided to include, Moises Henriques and Fabian Allen to boost their batting unit.

On the other hand, Jalaj Saxena was dropped to accommodate Murugan Ashwin. Punjab Kings have won only one of their three matches, while SunRisers remain is still searching for a win.
