Veteran Australian batsman David Warner dropped his image on Instagram and urged the fans to give suitable captions. As soon as he published the post, the responses started flooding the comment section. There were plenty of heartwarming responses from fans.

Warner is coming out of a lean patch with his bat. He was sacked from the captaincy of Sunrisers Hyderabad midway through the recently-suspended Indian Premier League 2021. The franchise named Kane Williamson as his replacement and eventually dropped him from the playing XI before the league came to a premature halt.

The IPL 2021 was suspended when the coronavirus breached inside the bio-bubble and multiple players caught the virus. Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier were the first players who were tested positive for the virus and forced Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore game to be postponed. Later on, Wriddhiman Saha and Amit Mishra also gave positive results and BCCI decided the inevitable by suspending the league indefinitely.

In IPL 2021, David Warner didn’t look at his usual best in the league and struggled to score runs freely. The team suffered humiliating defeats and was reeling at the bottom of the points table before the league got suspended.
