It happens very rarely that a bowler fails to take an absolutely simple catch on his own bowling but Delhi Capitals (DC) fast bowler, Khaleel Ahmed added to the list of such instances. Khaleel Ahmed dropped a simple high catch of the Rajasthan Royals (RR) skipper, Sanju Samson on his own bowling who was looking dangerous and was smashing the ball all around the park.

RR has won four matches in the IPL 2022 so far and has started in a superb manner against DC. RR was asked to bat first as DC won the toss. It was an absolute Jos Buttler show in the first inning after that as he scored a century. Devdutt Padikkal also supported him with a dominating half-century. Sanju Samson was looking dangerous after coming to bat at No. 3 as he was smashing the ball all around the park. However, Khaleel Ahmed provided him with a lifeline.
