The Delhi Police Crime Branch has intensified its investigation into the alleged black-marketing of IPL 2026 match tickets and complimentary passes, with four officials from the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) reportedly being served notices to join the probe. The development comes after multiple arrests were made outside the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi during an ongoing crackdown on illegal ticket sales linked to betting activities.

According to reports, police earlier arrested four individuals accused of illegally selling IPL tickets and complimentary passes at highly inflated prices. The accused allegedly supplied premium tickets to people involved in online betting operations being run from inside the stadium during matches.
As per a report by The Indian Express, each complimentary pass was reportedly sold for nearly Rs 20,000, with investigators suspecting that a share of the profits was passed on to certain DDCA officials. The accused are also believed to have sold high-value tickets to known criminal elements, including pickpockets and people linked to illegal satta networks.
