India is on the Europe tour and they will be facing Ireland for a 2-match T20I series, and the final game of the series has been played at Castle Avenue in Dublin. Deepak Hooda was on fire in the second T20I against Ireland as he surpassed the three-figure mark in 55 balls to become the fourth Indian batter to do so.
After winning the first T20I and having an unassailable lead of 1-0 in the series, India started well in the second match even before the start of the play. As the coin toss was flicked in the air, it produced results in favor of Hardik Pandya. With Ruturaj Gaikwad resting due to injury, Ishan Kishan and Sanju Samson opened the innings.

Ishan Kishan was dismissed on three runs earlier in the innings and Deepak Hooda came out to bat. Deepak Hooda has been optimizing the opportunity he has got in the series so far completely.
Hooda was also the highest run-scorer in the first innings and has now scored a hundred in the second game. He completed his hundred with the help of nine boundaries and six sixes in 55 balls. In the process, he became the fourth Indian batter to go past the three-figure mark in T20Is.

Only Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, and KL Rahul have achieved the feat before him. Deepak Hooda has produced a couple of superb knocks in the series but he might again miss out on the opportunity in the Indian team after the first-choice players will return.
