Star Indian pacer Deepak Chahar, renowned for his contributions to the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, has been making significant strides off the cricket field as well, venturing into entrepreneurship. His journey commenced with the launch of Trade Fantasy Game, a fantasy gaming platform, in March 2023. Following this, Chahar expanded his entrepreneurial endeavors by introducing DNINE Sports, a brand specializing in sportswear and cricket shoes.
As the latest season of the IPL approaches, scheduled to commence on March 22, Deepak Chahar is gearing up to unveil a new line of products under the DNINE Sports brand. Expressing his vision, Chahar emphasized his ambition to develop DNINE Sports into a comprehensive sports brand. He revealed plans to introduce running shoes into their product range by the conclusion of IPL 2024.

“The plan is to make a complete sports brand. So, after cricket shoes, we are entering the bigger market of running shoes, and the market is huge for this. We will be launching running shoes just around the end of the IPL,” Deepak Chahar explained in an interview with Moneycontrol.

Furthermore, Deepak Chahar outlined the brand’s strategy to establish a robust offline presence through physical stores. Recognizing the preference of consumers to personally experience and select sports products for the perfect fit and comfort, Chahar emphasized the importance of building a strong distribution network.
DNINE Sports has already penetrated 50 cities with reliable distributors and is actively expanding its footprint to reach more locations. On the cricketing front, Deepak Chahar is set to represent the Chennai Super Kings once again in the upcoming IPL season.
