The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) fast bowler, Deepak Chahar witnessed a horrifying outing in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 match against Punjab Kings (PBKS). He conceded as many as 48 runs in his quota of 4 overs and a lot of credit for the same goes to teh PBKS skipper, KL Rahul who made a flamboyant unbeaten knock of 42-ball 98*.

However, after the game was finished, Deepak Chahar was seen proposing to a girl near teh CSK dressing room and the visuals show that she said, “yes”. Chahar put a ring on his girlfriend’s finger, who happily agreed to it before the lovebirds were seen hugging each other.

Speaking at the post-match presentation ceremony, CSK skipper, MS Dhoni said: “You have to cope (when it comes to mental or skill aspect) up with that. We had played very good cricket to reach the playoff stages. We had a few bad games 2 out of 3 and one we felt like we could have a comeback and that’s part and parcel d in leagues like these, you have to be at your best.”

He further added, Motivation is not a factor, the guys are highly motivated and maybe we need to tune up slightly as to what needs to be done and also a few tosses if they had gone our way. It would have looked worse winning toss and batting on that wicket and I felt the wicket changed a bit, it was a bit challenging but it was a good wicket.”

CSK only managed to reach the tally of 134 runs, which PBKS chased it comfortably in 13 overs as PBKS skipper, KL Rahul played a brilliant knock.
