India pacer Deepak Chahar, who was last seen in the now-suspended Indian Premier League, couldn’t find a place in the 20-member Indian squad that toured to the United Kingdom (UK) for the upcoming inaugural edition of the World Test Championship final against New Zealand and then the five-match Test series against England as well.

Chahar was in a good form while playing for the three-time IPL champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In seven matches, Deepak claimed eight wickets which came at an economy rate of 8.04 and an average of 24.12 as well. However, he is currently with his family and enjoying some free time.

Meanwhile, on June 9, Wednesday, Deepak Chahar shared his pictures on his official Twitter handle where he was seen in a completely different look. He can be seen with a more muscular body with a hairstyle similar to the one that was sported by Amir Khan in his movie Ghajini. While the picture went viral in no time, the best comment he received from none other than Suresh Raina.

However, Deepak Chahar can be seen playing international cricket next in India’s upcoming tour of Sri Lanka in July 2021. A second string of the Indian team is slated to travel there for three One Day International matches and as many T20 International games as well. Since the main pace attack of India, including the likes of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, and Shardul Thakur are a part of the Test squad, Deepak Chahar is expected to lead the bowling attack for the Indian team as well.
