Under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer, Delhi Capitals (DC) has had an impressive journey so far in the on-going Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Barring a 15-run defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (DC), the DC has managed to win three games out of the four games they have played so far. In their previous game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Shreyas Iyer and his men played dominating cricket as the skipper slammed a blistering 88 as Capitals gathered 228 runs on the scoreboard.
With multiple in-form batsmen including skipper Iyer in their artillery, DC will be eyeing to secure the top spot when they face Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the 19th match of the tournament. The winner of the game will be reaching the top of the pile when they face each other today at Dubai International Stadium. Ahead of their clash against a dominant-looking RCB side, Delhi has even released a new jersey.

Partnering with JSW Paints, Delhi has added a dash of colors on the front of their normal jersey. The franchise revealed its new apparel through an Instagram video that featured featuring stalwarts like – skipper Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ajinkya Rahane.
Captioning the video on Instagram, they wrote: “Dilliwalon, we are adding more colors to our vibrant game Here’s to celebrating a beautiful partnership this #IPL season with @jswpaints, as we endeavor to #EmbraceEveryColour.”

Delhi Capitals, meanwhile, have also suffered a major blow ahead of their game against RCB as Amit Mishra got ruled out of the season owing to a finger injury. Mishra had injured his finger while attempting to take a diving catch against KKR at Sharjah.

He managed to bowl just two overs and also scalped the crucial wicket of a dangerous-looking Shubman Gill. But after the game, reports came out suggesting that the veteran has suffered a tendon injury, ruling him out of Delhi’s campaign this year.
