Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma officially announced the news of their marriage on Monday. The power couple got hitched in a very closed ceremony in Italy. It was attended by close friends and families of the two.

After the private ceremonies – ‘Mehendi’, ring ceremony and wedding – focus now shifts to the wedding receptions which are expected to be a star-studded affair. The invitation card for the December 21 event in New Delhi is already going viral on the internet. The event is expected to be attended by the relatives and close friends who were not in attendance in Italy.

According to the invitation card, Virat and Anushka have organized a gala dinner for their relatives and it will be held at the Durbar Hall of Taj. While the guest list is still not out but the leading personalities of the New Delhi are likely to attend the event. However, all eyes will now be focussed on the two receptions.

Interestingly, there are two names at the bottom left side corner of the invitation card that might surprise many. It reads, “Compliments from Nanke and Dadke”. In Punjab relatives from father’s side are called ‘DADKE’ and from mother’s side are called ‘NANKE’.

The second reception will take place in Mumbai and it is likely to be attended by the Indian cricket team and Anushka’s Bollywood friends. Since India will play the last T20I against Sri Lanka in Mumbai on December 24, the team will be able to attend skipper’s wedding reception before boarding the flight to South Africa for a long tour on the very next day. Anushka will then accompany her husband Virat during the South Africa tour and will spend the New Year’s Eve there.
