Mumbai Indians (MI), who are looking for their maiden win of the season are locking horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 23rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 at the MCA stadium in Pune. Young MI batter, Dewald Brevis, who has been named as ‘Baby AB’ smashed four back-to-back sixes of Rahul Chahar in the 9th over of the second innings.

Earlier in the game, MI skipper, Rohit Sharma won the toss and asked PBKS to bat first. While, the PBKS skipper, Mayank Agarwal made no changes to their squad. MI made a change by bringing in Tymal Mills for Ramandeep Singh. Mayank alongside his opening partner, Shikhar Dhawan gave a brilliant start as they added 97 runs and they made individual half-centuries as well. Punjab eventually reached a score of 199/6 owing to a late blitz from Hitesh Sharma and Shahrukh Khan.

In the second innings, MI started off well as Rohit Sharma meant business from the word go, however, he was soon dismissed by Kagiso Rabada in the 4th over. In the next over, Vaibhav Arora dismissed Ishan Kishan. Rahul Chahar was bowling the 9th over of the innings and on the last 4 balls of the over, the young MI batter, Dewald Brevis smashed the leg-spinner for back-to-back sixes. The last six was as big as 112 meters long.
