Gurugram-based Elan Group, a real estate firm, has gifted former Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a well-serviced luxury apartment in one of their own project.
“His unparalleled service and contribution towards Indian cricket is commendable. May he keep on inspiring the young generation for years to come,” said Rakesh Kapoor, chairman of Elan Group. The cost of the apartment is Rs 1.5 crore and it measures 1,000 sq ft.
Dhoni has recently shifted to his new farmhouse, ‘Kailashpati’ in Ranchi. He was gifted an one acre of land by Lal Gopal Sharan Nath Shahdeo in his hometown in Kanthitar. It is assumed that Dhoni is planning to build another farm house on this piece of land.
His current residence is outspread on seven acres of land. Along with his wife and his daughter MS Dhoni’s parents, Paan Singh and Devaki Devi also resides there. The Bungalow has an indoor stadium in it, alongside swimming pool, a field for net practice and also an ultra-modern gym.
35-year old Dhoni is currently playing the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League. Post the IPL, he is all set to board the plane to England for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
