The last match of the group stage of the ongoing season of IPL was played between  Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium in Delhi on May 14.

In the dead rubber between the two team who finished the season at bottom of the table rankings, RCB outplayed DD by 10 runs with Virat Kohli played the knock of 58 runs off 45 deliveries. He also got the award for being the highest run-getter of the match. In order to encourage his fans, Kohli handed that award during the post-match presentation itself.

The said gesture from Virat resulted in him winning a plethora of hearts in Twitter. However, he was superseded by another player in terms of mentions on Twitter and he was none other than MS Dhoni.
