The Indian stalwarts MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli have finally come up with a reply of Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah’s challenges ahead of the 2019 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. After Pant and Bumrah sent out mock-challenges to their Team India mates, the response from Kohli and Dhoni acknowledges the effort but fired their own warning shots.

Kohli reminded Bumrah that he is sledging his own skipper and then going onto add that he should not expect any favors from him when they meet on the field in the IPL. On the other hand, Dhoni said that he used to think the way Rishabh does now but went onto remind the youngster that it will be him behind the stumps when he walks out to bat in the tournament.

Earlier, Bumrah said, “World’s best bowler? Not yet guys. I still have to castle the best batsman in the world. Cheeku Bhaiyya (Virat Kohli), I am coming for you, and this time you are not even in my team.”

This what Kohli said in response to Bumrah: “Cheeku bhayia! You are sledging you own captain, so… you have finally learned. Just don’t expect any favor from your ‘cheeku bhaiya'”.

Pant had challenged Dhoni by saying, “Mahi bhai is like a teacher. If Mahi bhai wouldn’t have been there, I don’t know if I would have been a wicketkeeper-batsman. But this time, I will rain down at his team so hard that captain cool won’t remain cool. Mahi bhai, be ready, I’m coming to show you the game.”
