During the ongoing first ODI between South Africa and India at Durban, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Bhuvneshwar Kumar joined hands to run-out South Africa’s pacer, Kagiso Rabada.
It happened during the last delivery of the South African innings. In which was a wide delivery outside the off stump, Andile Phehlukwayo and Rabada ran to get the former on strike.
Dhoni, who had already removed his wicket-keeping gloves citing the same mode of dismissal in mind, threw the ball back to the bowler at the non-striker’s end. Rabada ended up scoring 1(1).
After 50 overs, South Africa scored 269-8 in 50 overs. South African captain, Faf du Plessis, top-scored with 120 (112). His innings comprised of 11 fours and two sixes. With bowling figures of 10-0-34-3, Kuldeep Yadav was the pick of the Indian bowlers.
