Ahead of the much-anticipated fifth and final Test at The Oval, Team India pacer Arshdeep Singh and wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel took a break from the nets to enjoy a light-hearted day out at Bicester Village, a luxury shopping destination in Oxfordshire. What followed was an amusing shopping experience that quickly went viral online.

While exploring the high-end stores, the duo stumbled upon a t-shirt priced at an eye-watering ₹3 lakh, prompting a priceless reaction from Arshdeep Singh. “A t-shirt for three lakhs, I mean, why?” he exclaimed, leaving fans in splits. “We stood there for 17 seconds, saw the price, and walked away,” he quipped with disbelief.

They later came across another shirt priced at around ₹50,000, which Arshdeep Singh admitted he liked but couldn’t justify buying. Jurel humorously reminded him, “Brother, it was a t-shirt priced at 50 thousand, who would buy it?”

The banter didn’t stop there. “I’ll just wear one shirt now, two or three times, and then disappear,” Jurel laughed, reflecting the casual camaraderie in the Indian camp. The two were later joined by spinner Kuldeep Yadav and fielding coach T Dilip, enjoying some downtime before the high-stakes clash.

On the cricketing front, India is gearing up for a must-win encounter, with the series standing at 2-1 in England’s favour. The hosts took the first Test at Headingley, thanks to centuries from Ollie Pope and Ben Duckett, while India responded emphatically at Edgbaston, where Shubman Gill led from the front with twin tons.

England edged ahead again in the third Test with a 22-run victory, powered by Ben Stokes and Joe Root. But India, showing grit and resilience, battled to a draw in the rain-affected fourth Test at Old Trafford. Unbeaten centuries from Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar ensured the series would be decided at The Oval, setting the stage for a thrilling finale.
