Rajasthan Royals wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel continued his outstanding IPL 2026 campaign with another explosive innings in the Eliminator against SunRisers Hyderabad at the New Chandigarh Stadium on Wednesday. The right-handed batter played a fearless knock under pressure, smashing a quickfire half-century before departing immediately after reaching the milestone.

Druv Jurel brought up his fifty in just 20 deliveries — his sixth half-century of the season — with a towering six off SRH pacer Praful Hinge during the 14th over. The delivery was a short ball outside off stump, and Jurel attempted a powerful cut shot towards backward point. Sakib Hussain got fingertips to the ball while leaping in the air, but the effort was not enough as the ball sailed over the boundary for six.
However, Praful Hinge responded brilliantly on the very next delivery. The SRH pacer once again banged the ball short, forcing Jurel into a mistimed shot towards deep square leg, where Nitish Kumar Reddy completed the catch to end a dangerous innings.
