In their pursuit of a target of 197 runs, the standout performances came from Sanju Samson and Dhruv Jurel. Samson’s blazing 71* off 33 deliveries and Jurel’s resilient 52* off 34 balls propelled the Royals towards victory. For Jurel, it was a pivotal moment, bouncing back from a string of underwhelming performances.

Reflecting on his role in the team’s batting order, Jurel described it as both a blessing and a curse. He expressed his determination to stay at the crease till the end and seal the victory for his team.

“I just wanted to finish the match whenever I got a chance (during batting). It’s always a blessing/curse (playing in the middle-order), I just wanted to stay until the end and finish the game for my team,” Dhruv Jurel stated during the post-match presentation ceremony.

“I started well, but my shots went straight to the fielders. Sanju then told me to calm down, don’t go too hard, take my time, and then I got 20 runs in an over, and that got me going,” Dhruv Jurel revealed, highlighting the importance of team support and mentorship in crucial moments.
