There was a time in Indian cricket when post the match or series win, Mahendra Singh Dhoni used to ride bikes with another player sitting behind him. No matter who would earn the prize in the form of a bike, Dhoni was the designated driver.

Such an incident happened yet again today as Dhoni drove the vehicle after India whitewashed Sri Lanka 5-0. Players who were sitting beside Dhoni might have changed, but, the former skipper continued to play the same role.

Before the commencement of this series, Indian team management hinted at experiments and giving chances to every player. They would be happy to achieve this goal of theirs other than dominating the series.

Having scored his 30th ODI century and drawing level with Ricky Ponting, Virat Kohli is only behind Sachin Tendulkar (49) now in terms of most ODI centuries. It was also pleasing to see an Indian fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, grabbing the Man of the Series award.
