Former English skipper, Kevin Pietersen was seen facing the veteran Indian wicket-keeper batsman, Dinesh Karthik, who was never known for his bowling. A recent segment between the two proved exactly why. Karthik has recently switched from playing international cricket to becoming a commentator and he is definitely enjoying the transition.

In a segment that involved both these former cricketers, it was just something that fans enjoyed and it was supposed to be about Dinesh Karthik throwing a few balls towards Kevin Pietersen, who would hit them away. However, things did not go exactly as per plan.

Here is the video of this funny incident that took place between the two ex-cricketers-

Kevin Pietersen managed to dodge the incoming ball twice. However, the third one was really close and just went above his head. That could have hit Pietersen in the face, though the South African-born cricketer dodged it. However, Pietersen did not take it lightly. He responded on Twitter to the video that was put up. Kevin Pietersen reverted in a single line.

Kevin Pietersen and Dinesh Karthik played together in 2014 in the IPL and looked good. Though the team never managed to win anything, they were right there at the top. Eventually, Dinesh Karthik went on to play for the Kolkata Knight Riders, and eventually, Kevin Pietersen had a few years ago retired from all forms of cricket.

Now, this face-off will be quite memorable and it will bring back some memories of India versus England as well.  A trip down memory lane for sure and the fans would want more of the same. Hopefully, the upcoming5-match Test series between the two teams can live up to the expectations now.
