Dinesh Karthik was one of the cricketers who got a chance to return to the Indian team after a long gap. Karthik earlier made a comeback to the Indian team after an impressive spell with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) last year. However, he could not capitalize on the opportunity he received.

The veteran wicket-keeper batter made his debut in the world of commentary in 2021. After that, the 37-year-old returned to that role in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He will next feature for RCB in the IPL 2023 which will begin on March 31.
