Taking to Twitter, Karthik expressed that the spell was all about Bumrah’s genius, highlighting the challenge any batter would face against such an exceptional bowler.

“That session between lunch and tea was all about Jasprit BUMRAH and his genius. What a bowler in any format. Any batter would’ve struggled to play that spell,” wrote Karthik on Twitter.

 

While Bumrah had already made an impact with two wickets in the first innings, his devastating spell in the second innings showcased his ability to consistently provide breakthroughs for India. Despite England’s recovery, led by Ollie Pope’s century, the Indian bowlers continued to apply pressure.

In the first innings, after winning the toss, England posted a total of 246-10 with Ben Stokes contributing a fifty. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja played pivotal roles, each clinching three wickets to trouble the English batters.
