South African player Keshav Maharaj praised Dinesh Karthik after the game and stated that it is also difficult to bowl him. Dinesh Karthik was in great form during the fourth T20I against South Africa as he scored a brilliant fifty which helped India to reach a decent total after 20 overs as well.

However, Dinesh Karthik has been the talk of the town ever since his stunning show came for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2022. The right-handed batter played the finisher’s role for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) this season and was very successful as well. Since then, he has been getting praise from fans and former cricketers and has been a star performer for the Indian team in the ongoing series against South Africa which is also a reward for his stunning show in the IPL.

Notably, Karthik smashed 55 from just 27 balls in the 4th T20I of the series at Rajkot. South Africa spinner Keshav Maharaj applauded the batter and referred to him as one of the finest finishers of the game as well. He also stated that bowling to Dinesh Karthik is tough.

“He (Karthik) has been in serious form in the role he is fulfilling. He is certainly one of the best finishers in the game. He scores in unorthodox areas which makes him difficult to bowl to. We saw why he was one of the leading performers in the IPL. He showed his class today and played exceptionally well,” Keshav Maharaj said after the game on Star Sports.
