Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowling coach Dwayne Bravo has taken a dig at the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 experts for their prediction of top-2 teams of the ongoing season on the points table. On Saturday, May 20, the MS Dhoni-led side defeated Delhi Capitals (DC) by a margin of 77 runs in the last league match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. With this win, CSK booked their spot in the playoff by finishing second in the IPL 2023 points table with 17 points to their name.
Three teams namely Gujarat Titans (GT), CSK, and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), have already qualified for the IPL 2023 playoffs. Meanwhile, the three teams still in contention for the playoffs, ahead of the last two league games, are Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Mumbai Indians (MI).

Bravo posted the prediction list on his official Instagram handle, which had been compiled by experts like David Hussey, Daren Ganga, Sanjay Manjrekar, and Mithali Raj among many others.
Notably, no one predicted CSK will be reaching the first or second position, which prompted the former West Indies and CSK star, as he teased them, stating that he reckons these predictions were made on April Fools Day. He further mentioned that CSK has advanced to the playoffs in 12 occasions, reached the final nine times, and won four titles in the lucrative league.

Ahead of Qualifier 1, the Hardik Pandya-led side will play their final league stage match against RCB at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, May 21.
