Eng vs Ind: Kuldeep Yadav Bags Two In An Over!

Team India is currently locking horns with the England team in the first ODI of the three-match series at the Trent Bridge. After winning the toss, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli chose to bowl first on the flat track in Nottingham, but in the first powerplay, the English team was 71/0.

However, things took a drastic turn in the 13th over of the game which was bowled by the star spinner Kuldeep Yadav as he dismissed two top-order English batsman Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow in the same over and the England team was down to 82/3.

On the first bowl of the over, Root was pinned to the back foot as he once again failed to pick Kuldeep, as he was found plumb in front of the wickets and the umpire was quick o give him out as well. On the penultimate ball of the over, Kuldeep bowled a googly on the leg-stump and Bairstow failed to read it and the bowl went on crash on in back thigh and the umpire has it not-out thinking that it could’ve pitched outside the leg-stump.

Kohli discussed with MS Dhoni and decide to review the decision and as they say that Dhoni’s accuracy in DRS is more than 90% and once again the decision was right and Kuldeep got his third dismissal as Bairstow and the England team was down to 82/3.
