After an emphatic win in the opening game of the three-match ODI series, India will be taking on the hosts in the second ODI at the iconic Lords. India registered a dominating win in the first ODI by a huge margin of 10 wickets and currently leads the 3-match series by 1-0. India won the toss at Kennington Oval and decided to bowl first.

The Indian skipper, Rohit Sharma had decided to bowl first and the decision proved to be on point as England were bundled out for a mere 110, owing to a brilliant 6-wicket haul from Jasprit Bumrah and 3 wickets from Mohammad Shami. None of the English batters managed to go past the 30-run mark. India chased down the total quite comfortably without losing any of their wickets. Skipper Rohit Sharma played an unbeaten knock of 76 while Shikhar Dhawan added 31 runs.

England would be desperate to settle the score in the second ODI while India will be eying to seal the series. A great contest is anticipated once again here between these two top-quality sides. India and England locked horns with each other in 104 games in ODIs earlier and the visitors are having a 56-43 lead in the head-to-head contest. 

England

England could trust the batting order and play the same XI that suffered a 10-wicket loss in the opening game. Harry Brook and Phil Salt are the two available options if England want to tinker with their misfiring batting unit.
