India has bounced back in the five-match Test series on the English soil as they won the third Test at Trent Bridge (Nottingham) by 203 runs after starting the Test match from 2-0 behind in the series.

English captain Joe Root decided to field first after winning the toss. India managed to score 329 runs in their first innings while England replied only 161 runs in their first innings as they trailed by 168 runs at the end of the first innings clashes.

In the second innings, India skipper Virat Kohli declared the innings on 352/7 as England needed to chase 521 runs to win this Test match. However, they failed to reach that mammoth target as they only managed to score 317 runs before getting bundled out on the fifth day morning.

India won this Test match by 203 runs and reduces their trail by the 2-1 margin.
