One of the batting mainstays of the South African lineup, Faf du Plessis has been enjoying some of his outings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020. Playing acrucil role in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batting line-up, Du Plessis has amassed 375 runs in 10 fixtures averaging over 46 while maintaining a strike rate of 141.5. He is the highest run-getter for the Yellow Army.
On Sunday,Faf’s wife Imari took to her official Instagram handle to ask for something from her husband. Posting the picture of Faf, shared by CSK on their profile, Imari jokingly suggested Faf du Plessis about the idea of having more babies with her. Replying to his wife, Faf wrote that he is ready for this.
The cricketer had tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Imari in 2013 at Kleine Zalze and they were blessed with their first child, Amelia du Plessis in 2017. In August 2020, they welcomed their second child Zoey du Plessis.

Sharing this delightful news with his fans through his Instagram handle, the South Africa captain had posted a picture with his wife and captioned it as, “The Miracle of a new life coming into this world makes me stop and just be in awe of creation and how perfectly and wonderfully we are created. Welcome Zoey to this wonderful world. We will love you unconditionally and I will protect with everything I have. Love you.”
The three-time champions Super Kings (CSK) have been struggling to find the rhythm in the 2020 edition of the T20 extravaganza. The franchise seems to be lacking on all the three fronts be it batting, bowling, and fielding. So far, they have managed to win only three out of their total nine games played. In their most recent fixture in IPL, they saw a defeat against Delhi Capitals by five wickets in Sharjah after almost registering a victory.
