The Indian pace battery comprising of Khaleel Ahmed, Mohammed Siraj, and Mohammed Shami seemed to be in high spirits after the historic win in the ODI series and decided to play a prank on the more experienced Shami. The veteran fast bowler seemed to be unsure of it and hence was taken by surprise when the two younger fast bowlers surprised Shami.
As soon as the video of the incident surfaced on social media, various users seemed to find the entire episode extremely hilarious and Shami’s expression seemed to be the reason. Here is the video of the episode that happened just before the post-match presentation ceremony:

Earlier, it was Yuzvendra Chahal’s match-winning spell of 6 for 42 that laid the platform for the win. Later on, MS Dhoni bagged the Man of the Series award for hitting three half-centuries and for also being the highest run-scorer of the series with 193 runs in three knocks. Two of them at Adelaide and MCG came in a winning cause.
After receiving the award, Dhoni said, “It is not about where you want to bat; I am happy to bat at any number and after playing for 14 years I can’t say that I don’t want to bat at number six and want to bat at four.”

Meanwhile, India ended up creating quite a few records with the latest win. The win has also bbecomeKohli the only Indian skipper to win Test and ODI trophies on the same tour in Australia. This is also the first time in history that India will leave Australia without losing a series. India had drawn the T20I series 1-1 before beating the Aussies in Tests 2-1.
Kohli & his men will now depart to New Zealand for a limited-overs tour comprising five ODIs and three T20Is.
