Former India captain Virat Kohli has finally ended his over three-year wait for a Test hundred on Sunday (March 12) by scoring his 28th Test century against Australia in Ahmedabad as well. The 34-year-old veteran right-handed batter was unbeaten at 59 from 128 balls at the end of the third day’s play, and in the second session of the fourth day’s play at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, he finally reached the three-figure mark. This is his first Test hundred since November 2019 as well.
However, Virat Kohli scored his 27th Test ton against Bangladesh during the historic day-night Test which took place at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata on November 22, 2019. In that match, the former India captain scored 136 runs from 194 balls with the help of 18 boundaries as well.

However, after 3 years, 3 months, and 20 days, he has again smashed a Test hundred and has ended the long wait. The star batter was pumped up after reaching the triple-figure mark and celebrated it in style. The video of his celebration after reaching a century has gone viral on social media platforms.
