Umesh Yadav

The 31-year-old Indian pacer Umesh Yadav is not a regular pacer in the present limited-overs international cricket. His last ODI game was in last October when Windies toured in India. As the Indian cricket team has a long successful pace bowling line-up, it is going to be a tight fight for the WC spot.

Though Yadav played in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup, his chance for the upcoming WC is not too bright. However, he will be a strong option for the team management if some of the front-line pacers remain unavailable for the WC due to injuries.
