Pakistan cricketer Ahmed Shehzad was once compared with the present Indian skipper Virat Kohli for their similar looks. Once, the right-handed opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad was the regular limited-overs cricketer for Pakistan cricket team. But due to his inconsistent batting forms and some controversies, Shehzad has lost his place.

At present, Shehzad has been banned by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) till November 11, 2018, for consumption of a prohibited substance.

Shehzad played his last ODI for Pakistan in October 2017. Though he played four T20I matches in this year, before he has been handed a four-month ban, he hasn’t much impressed with his bat. Moreover, Pakistan’s present top-order batting is getting stronger with the time progresses.

Though after completion of his ban, Shehzad will have enough time to return to the national squad before the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup, the current situation is not favouring him. As Shehzad is just 26-year-old, he might play the future World Cups but the upcoming one is really tough for him.
