Yuvraj Singh (India)
Yuvraj Singh is one of the Indian cricketers who has achieved almost every biggest success in cricket. Starting from 2000 ICC U-19 World Cup to 2002 ICC Champions Trophy (join-champion with the host Sri Lanka), 2007 ICC World T20, 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup etc. and in most of those tournaments, he was among the top players as he won the Player of the Tournament awards in 2000 ICC U-19 World Cup and 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup.
After the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, Yuvraj fought against a cancerous tumour in his left lung and he defeated it. In 2012, Yuvraj made his return to the international cricket and appeared in all three World T20 tournaments (2012, 2014 and 2016). However, he has faced a lot of ups and downs since his return to his international cricket.
In June 2017, Yuvraj played his international cricket and that too in ODI format. Due to inconsistency with the bat, Yuvraj has failed to retain his spot in the national squad. Though the Indian middle-order batting line-up is not enough strong at the moment, Yuvraj’s return in the international cricket is unlikely to be happening in any time soon. So, the 36-year-old all-rounder has a very hard chance to appear in 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.
