India is a cricket crazy nation. While the sport has seen immense growth for the last few decades, betting, as well as scams too, came in place with it – be it for the Selection in the National team, in any matches or during the Indian Premier League. And, as per current reports, a former IPL player and some state officials are under the radar for the Scam.
A Boy named Anshul Raj has filed a complaint against the Officials and a former IPL Player where he has accused the owner and the Director of the Company of doing a scam with money. Official Bora and his sister Chitra has been accused of the scam and they are currently behind the bars under the section Forgery, Cheating, Criminal Intimation, and many more charges. Notably, they asked Raj to pay 10 lakhs to the officials for his selection in the Himachal Pradesh under 23 sides in the CK Naidu Tournament.

Moreover, they took him to an office where he met the former IPL bowler Javed Khan. He had played for Delhi and was also a part of Mumbai Indians. Even, he is one of the key members of the Selection Committee as well.

However, Anshul Raj has given his statement against the officials and Javed Khan. His Complaint read as “As I belong to a poor and simple family with big dreams and passion for playing for my nation, the accused defrauded me and my family with such a scam and sucked out a huge amount from us by overstating things. I respectfully pray that an FIR may kindly be lodged against the accused.”

Meanwhile, Harbhajan could not able to keep his cool and he shared the Incident and requested BCCI and Sanjeev Shukla to look into the matter as soon as possible and sort this out as well. Notably, the Police have already issued notice to Delhi, Arunachal, Himachal Pradesh against this case and also the Officials who run T20 Bihar League as well.
