England wicket-keeper batsman Jos Buttler was at his ferocious best on Tuesday as he dispatched the Indian bowling attack on the day to score a 52-ball unbeaten 83 and take his team 2-1 up in the five-match T20I series. Buttler’s knock of helped with 5 fours and 4 sixes on the day and he also cornered the Indian leg-spinner, Yuzvendra Chahal, by smashing him for a couple of sixes in the bowler’s very first over. Speaking about Buttler’s innings, former Indian opener, Gautam Gambhir said that Buttler is very difficult to stop when he’s in such form.
Gambhir was also of the opinion, the veteran Indian opener, Rohit Sharma and Buttler is probably the best T20 batsmen in the world. He explained, “He’s phenomenal, probably the best T20 batter in the world along with Rohit Sharma. Ian Bell just mentioned he is the best English white-ball batsman. According to me, Jos Buttler is the best white-ball batter in the world.”

As per the quotes of ESPNCricinfo, Gautam Gambhir further added, “He’s got so many options. I don’t think there is anyone who has got so many options, be it facing the fast bowlers and spinners the reverse sweep, the lap, you can call everything. He is just phenomenal and once he is in this kind of form, it’s difficult for anyone to stop him because he has so many options.”

India missed Jasprit Bumrah, says Gambhir Gambhir also felt that Team India missed Jasprit Bumrah in the 3rd T20I, and said that with Buttler batting the way he was, it was very difficult for the Indian bowling attack to do anything.
