RCB registered a second straight loss against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at home, as the latter won the contest in what turned out to be a last-ball thriller. Notably, skipper Plessis, Kohli, and Maxwell fired in tandem to post a humongous first-innings total of 212 runs on the board in their 20 overs. While Faf remained unbeaten with 79 runs off 46 balls whereas Kohli and Maxwell got 61 and 59 runs, respectively, in the game.

During Faf’s impressive knock, the skipper clobbered a maximum that traveled a distance of 115m, making it the biggest six of IPL 2023. Maxwell in the same segment was asked about that one rule he might change in cricket if given a chance.

Glenn Maxwell explained, “It’s pretty rock solid at the moment. Maybe get more for hitting out of the stadium. If you lose the ball over the roof, maybe get a couple of extra runs.”

The trio will look to maintain their fine run and continue to put their best foot forward for the franchise. However, the side will swiftly need to get back to winning ways in order to keep the playoff hopes alive by the business end of the season.
