The flamboyant Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell looked in great form in the 48th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 against KL Rahul-led Punjab Kings (PBKS) in Sharjah on Sunday. Maxwell even smashed a gigantic 97-meter six which eventually landed outside the stadium in Sharjah cricket stadium. In the 15th over of the match, Maxwell was seen going berserk against PBKS leg spinner Ravi Bishnoi.

Glenn Maxwell smashed a couple of huge sixes against the leg spinner. In the second ball of the 15th over Maxwell went on to smack the ball pretty long in the cow-corner and the ball ended up landing on the road and in the very next ball he once again smashed an amazing-looking six on the long-on.

Earlier, RCB skipper, Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first. Also, they didn’t make any changes in the team and fielded the same playing XI. Also, Sarfaraz Khan and Moises Henriques came in as replacements for Deepak Hooda and Nathan Ellis.

Batting first RCB got off to a brilliant start as their openers, Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal looked impressive on the Sharjah surface and were batting at a very good strike rate. They managed to add 55 runs during the powerplay. Meanwhile, KL Rahul gave the ball to Moises Henriques in the 10th over, and he bowled an outstanding over dismissing skipper Virat Kohli and Dan Christian in back-to-back deliveries.

However, Henriques also managed to get the wicket of Devdutt Padikkal who survived a controversial caught behind a few over back. However, after that two of the most trustable RCB batters, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers were seen comfortable out in middle.
