The flamboyant Australian all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell is well known for expressing himself on the field, be it with his bat or verbally. During the second ODI at the Adelaide Oval, he was seen exchanging words with the India skipper, Virat Kohli. Well, it didn’t end there. Maxwell picked up the crucial wicket of Ambati Rayudu and gave him a send-off as well. However, it all started a ball before, when Virat completed a double, and later, gave a stare to Maxwell standing at the other end.
In the Sydney ODI, the all-rounder came out to bat in the final three overs; leaving questions over his batting position in the team. Later, in the following game at the Adelaide Oval, Maxwell made an impact with both bat and ball. Australia batted first in the second ODI, and Maxwell had played a cameo of 48 off 36 balls.
In the second innings, Glenn even got a wicket of Rayudu and proved his worth as an all-rounder. He also made himself worthy enough with some of his verbal banters as well. During India’s batting when nothing seemed to work, captain Finch brought Maxwell onto the attack; and the off-spinner came up with a vital breakthrough for his team.

As he picked Rayudu’s wicket; who wasn’t looking convincing in his short stay at the crease, Maxwell uttered a few words, or perhaps vent out his frustration on the batsman. Though the words weren’t clear, the intention surely was.
