Glenn McGrath says Bumrah isn’t The Most Complete Pacer

With no cricket going on, all the cricketers have a lot of free time on their hands right now. Many cricketers have also been proactive on their social media and Australian legend Glenn McGrath joined in too. He was asked to answer 25 rapid-fire questions from ‘ESPNCricinfo’ on a range of subjects. While answering them, McGrath named the most complete pacer right now.

Australia’s e legendary Glenn McGrath names Pat Cummins as the most complete pacer among the current crop. He also says how bowlers are more hardworking than batsmen.

Asked to name the most complete bowler in world cricket now, Glenn McGrath replied: “Pat Cummins. I like the way he goes by.” Answering the questions rapidly, the legendary bowler did not even mention India’s Jasprit Bumrah as a competitor to his fellow countrymen.

McGrath also addressed the big debate of his era. Asked to choose between, Sachin Tendulkar or Brian Lara, The Aussie international didn’t disappoint and named the batsman he felt was much harder to bowl at.

“Tough, I would go with Lara just (a bit) from my experience. The hat-trick wish-list would be Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar, and Rahul Dravid.”

He was also asked to name a delivery he felt missing from his armoury. The legendary pacer cheekily replied with,  “the 100miles per hour delivery.”

Glenn McGrath also says that fast bowlers work a lot harder than batsmen. He opted to favor of players with his skill set by saying, “Fast bowlers are better blokes, work harder and batsmen expect everything,”
