India and New Zealand are facing each other in the opening game of the three-match ODI series at Eden Park in Auckland.  There is no denying the fact that New Zealand’s fiery batter, Glenn Phillips is one of the better fielders in world cricket. Since the time, Johns Cena shared a picture of Phillips celebrating on the fiery, whenever the latter, makes an impact on the field, Cena’s entrance music starts playing from the background.

Glenn Phillips is easily one of the most athletic and fittest players for the Kiwis, as well as his eagerness on the field while grabbing stunning catches and chasing the balls ahead of the boundary line helps him receive a lot of praise.

But more interestingly, ever since John Cena posted the Kiwi’s photo on Instagram last month, the WWE superstar’s entrance music starts playing across every stadium whenever Phillips pulls out something phenomenal on the field. There was no exception on Friday during the game in Auckland.

Earlier in the game, India started off slow as India, largely due to his slow start, reached 144/2 after 30 overs despite having a 124-run opening-wicket partnership between Shikhar Dhawan (72 off 77 balls) and Shubman Gill (50 off 65 balls). However, after the quick dismissals of the openers followed by Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav getting dismissed quickly, Sanju Samson and Shreyas Iyer added 94 runs for the 5th wicket.

During the 46th over, bowled by Adam Milne, Sanju Samson went to loft a pitched-off delivery over mid-wicket, but only managed to find the toe end of his bat. The ball went high above the sky as it could, but Glenn Phillips, placed at deep mid-wicket, kept his eyes on it and covered a lot of ground before falling to his full stretch to grab that. Unsurprisingly, moments after Phillips’ brilliance, Cena’s music began to entertain the crowds.
