India pacer Gurnoor Brar was involved in a heated on-field incident with England opener Ben Duckett during the first ODI at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The flashpoint occurred in the eighth over of England’s innings after Duckett took the attack to the young left-arm seamer. Duckett looked in complete control from the outset, putting Brar under pressure with an aggressive approach.

The England opener first struck the pacer for a boundary before launching him over the ropes for a towering six later in the over, shifting the momentum firmly in the hosts’ favour. However, Brar responded with a dot ball on the very next delivery.
