Harbhajan Singh praises Puma after they sponsors Zimbabwe’s Ryan Burl

Zimbabwe cricketer Ryan Burl has recently shared a heartfelt post on social media where he urged for a sponsor to the popular sports gear giant Puma. However, they have extended their support to the Zimbabwean batsman where they have vowed to sponsor the Zimbabwe cricketer after his post about worn-out shoes went viral in no times on social media. After that, Indian as well as Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh applauded Puma for their incredible gesture as well.

Harbhajan Singh, however, took to Twitter and praised Puma Cricket for helping the Zimbabwe international cricketer. “Always there for the players @pumacricket well done,” Harbhajan wrote in his tweet. Meanwhile, his response has come after Puma has publicly announced to help Ryan Burl.

“Time to put the glue away, I got you covered,” Puma Cricket had responded to Ryan Burl’s tweet after the Zimbabwe player asked for help from household sporting brands. “Any chance we can get a sponsor so we don’t have to glue our shoes back after every series @newbalance @NewBalance_SA @NBCricket @ICAssociation,” Burl had shared in his post.

Ryan Burl had earlier revealed that he had to glue his pair of shoes after every series. And, his tweet soon became viral as fans and followers of the game have extended their support by retweeting and mentioning his ordeal on Twitter as well. Burl, a batting all-rounder of Zimbabwe has played as many as 46 internationals for the national cricket team as well.

The 27-year-old player has amassed over 500 runs across all formats and he has also bagged 26 wickets with his spin bowling so far as well. However, Zimbabwe were recently outclassed by Babar Azam-led Pakistan in a five-match series and Pakistan had beat Zimbabwe by an innings in the two-match Test series as well. On the other hand, Zimbabwe are all set to play against Ireland in a limited-overs series in August.
