On Tuesday, former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni celebrated his 39th birthday, and surprisingly the Indian all-rounders, Hardik and Krunal Pandya decided to reach Ranchi which is MS’ hometown to celebrate the occasion. Earlier in the day, Hardik has asserted that Dhoni has taught him to be a better human being as he wished Mahi on Twitter.

Tweeting about the same, Hardik wrote: “Happy birthday to my Bittu from your Chittu. My friend who has taught me to be a better human being and stood by me in bad times @msdhoni”. On the other hand, Krunal tweeted: “Mahi bhai! Happy birthday to a legend and the coolest guy around #HappyBirthdayDhoni @msdhoni.”

In his illustrious career, Dhoni has played 350 ODIs so far and he scored his highest score of 183 against Sri Lanka. He also holds the record of becoming the only skipper to win all major ICC trophies (50-over World Cup, T20 World Cup, and Champions Trophy).

In December 2014, MS decided to call it quits on his Test career and it provided a great opportunity for someone like Wriddhiman Saha. Dhoni hanged his boots from Test cricket after playing 90 Tests in which he amassed 4,876 runs at an average of 38.09. Then in 2017, he decided to give the captaincy reins to Virat Kohli in the limited-overs cricket.

On Dhoni’s birthday, a lot of his former and current teammates left no stone unturned in coming up with birthday greetings for Mahi. The players like Virender Sehwag and Kedar Jadhav, Hardik Pandya, Suresh Raina, Kuldeep Yadav, and VVS Laxman were among the first to wish Dhoni on his special day.
