Mumbai Indians (MI) all-rounder Krunal Pandya went on to share a picture on social media where he along with his younger brother, Hardik Pandya can be seen wearing PPE kits. In their “new travel kit”, Hardik and Krunal looked all set to leave for the UAE to participate in the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Captioning the picture on Twitter, Krunal wrote: “We’re getting used to our new travel kit. UAE, here we come”. This year’s IPL matches will be played across three venues in UAE – Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah.

The official Twitter account of Mumbai Indians also posted a picture of the player of the franchise wearing PPE kits as they travel for the IPL. They captioned the post and wrote, “Two points to those who can guess all members of our #OneFamily present in this frame!”.

Hardik Pandya made his debut in the cash-rich league for the Mumbai team back in 2015. Whereas, Krunal debuted a year later in 2016 for the same franchise. Ever since both the all-rounders have been playing a crucial role for the team led by Rohit Sharma.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) were the first teams to leave for UAE from India on Thursday. According to the reports, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will also be leaving for the UAE on Friday.
This year’s IPL is scheduled to commence on September 19 and the final of the tournament will be played on November 10. All players that are going to take part in India’s biggest money-spinner will be staying in a bio-secure bubble for the entire duration of the tournament.

Informing about the same in a press release, BCCI had stated, “IPL 2020 will be played from September 19 and the final will be played on November 10, 2020. The 53-day tournament will witness 10-afternoon matches starting at 15:30 IST while the evening matches will start at 19:30 IST.”
