Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya has just joined the national team after missing it more than three months due to the back injury. Returning to the team, the young all-rounder took a special selfie and called it “Best selfie ever”.
The Indian cricket team is preparing for the third Test of the four-match Test series against the hosts Australia that will be played at Melbourne Cricket Ground (Melbourne) from December 26. After proving his fitness, Pandya has been added in the Test squad for the last two Tests of the series.
Returning to the team, Pandya took a special selfie with the entire team-mate of the Test series. That was taken at the Indian summer festival at Yarra Park (MCG). Later, he posted it on his social media accounts and captioned it “Best selfie ever”.

During the final group stage match against Pakistan at Dubai (DSC) in the Asia Cup 2018 on 19 September 2018, Pandya suffered an acute back injury when he was bowling and soon he had to leave the ground on a stretcher. Since then, Pandya hasn’t played an international match.
He has already missed the remaining Asia Cup from the Super Four stage, the whole Windies tour of India (two Tests, five-ODIs and three T20Is), the three-match T20I series in Australia and first two Tests of the ongoing four-match Test series in Australia.

Recently, he returned to the domestic cricket after recovering from the injury. In his comeback game for Baroda against Mumbai at Mumbai in the group stage game of 2018/19 Ranji Trophy, Hardik took a total of seven wickets (5/81 & 2/21), including a five-wicket haul and also played a valuable 73-run knock.
That superb all-round performance helped Hardik to return to the Test squad for the final two Tests of the series in Australia, while initially, he wasn’t in the Tests squad.
Currently, the Test series is standing at the 1-1 level. India won the first Test at Adelaide by 31 runs and the hosts Australia levelled the series after winning the Perth Test by 146 runs.
