Indian cricket star and Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Hardik Pandya is reportedly facing personal turmoil following a disappointing IPL 2024 season. Recent reports suggest that Pandya might lose 70% of his assets to his wife, Serbian model and actress Natasa Stankovic, amid speculation of a possible separation. The rumours intensified when Stankovic changed her Instagram username from “Natasa Stankovic Pandya” to just “Natasa Stankovic.”
Adding fuel to the speculation, the couple hasn’t posted any pictures together recently. Notably, Pandya did not publicly wish Stankovic on her birthday on March 4. Stankovic’s absence from the stands during the IPL season was also conspicuous, a stark contrast to previous seasons when she was often seen supporting MI.
The figure of 70% asset loss stems from India’s alimony laws, suggesting that if the separation rumours are true, it could severely impact the 30-year-old cricketer’s financial standing. Such a significant loss would undoubtedly be a heavy blow to Pandya, who has amassed substantial wealth through his cricketing career and endorsements.

Pandya and Stankovic’s relationship has been in the public eye since they got engaged on a yacht in January 2020. They married in an intimate ceremony on May 31, 2020, and welcomed their son Agastya in July 2020. The couple celebrated a lavish wedding renewal in Udaipur on Valentine’s Day 2023, marking what seemed to be a fairytale romance.

On the professional front, Hardik Pandya returned to MI for the 17th edition of the IPL after a successful two-year stint with the Gujarat Titans (GT), where he led the team to a title in 2022 and a runner-up finish the following season.
Hardik Pandya’s return to MI saw him take over the captaincy from veteran Rohit Sharma, but the move did not yield positive results. MI had a dismal campaign under Pandya’s leadership, winning only four out of their 14 matches and finishing at the bottom of the points table.

As the IPL 2025 mega auction approaches, the Mumbai Indians’ management faces the daunting task of rebuilding the team. They will need to address several issues, including leadership and team composition, to bounce back from their poor performance. The potential personal challenges faced by Pandya could also impact his focus and availability, further complicating MI’s planning for the upcoming season.
