The flamboyant Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya is yet to become completely recovered from his back surgery. It’s been almost six months that he hasn’t played any forms of competitive cricket. However, now there is good news for them as the all-rounder is now expected to make a comeback by playing in a local T20 tournament.
Hardik sustained a back injury during the last T20I against South Africa in the year 2019. It was a major setback for Team India as a part of their T20 World Cup preparations that is scheduled to take place later this year in Australia. So, BCCI recommended him for surgery which took place in London. After a successful surgery, the fans had expected that he might get fully fit by the time of an important tour to New Zealand but he failed to do so.

Pandya was selected in India A squad for the one-day games. But, due to the lack of match fitness, he was pulled out from the series. In the previous month, he again had a final check-up for his spine in London from the specialist Dr. James Allibone. And, currently, he is undergoing through the rehabilitation programme conducted by National Cricket Academy.
The fans have been waiting for the flamboyant all-rounder to make a comeback as soon as possible. Now there is good news for them as Hardik Pandya is all set to hit the ground in the DY Patil T20 tournament. As per the reports of Mid-Day, Pandya will be spotted wearing the Reliance outfit in that tournament.
Not just for fans but it is good news for Team India, who suffered a 0-3 whitewash in the recently concluded ODI series against New Zealand. There is no doubt over the fact that Virat Kohli and his men seriously missed the services of Hardik that might have helped them in winning the ODI series against the BlackCaps.
