The flamboyant Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, is yet to become wholly recovered from his back surgery. It’s been almost six months that he hasn’t played any forms of competitive cricket. However, now as he is all fit again, he will soon be making a comeback on the field as there are reports that he is going to take part in the DY Patil T20 tournament.

Hardik sustained a back injury during the last T20I against South Africa in the year 2019. It was a significant setback for Team India as a part of their T20 World Cup preparations that are scheduled to take place later this year in Australia. So, BCCI recommended him for surgery, which took place in London. After a successful operation, the fans had expected that he might get fully fit by the time of an essential tour to New Zealand, but he failed to do so.

Later on, Pandya was sent back to train hard under the supervision of NCA. It is quite evident that the team management didn’t want to risk his fitness as he will be one of the most important players for Team India during the T20 World Cup that is scheduled to be held in Australia starting in October.

There are several speculations that Pandya will certainly pave his way back into the cricket in the cash-rich league where he will be spotted donning the glittery jersey of four times IPL champions Mumbai Indians.

However, now there is good news for the Pandya fans that he will be making his comeback in the DY Patil T20 tournament. One of the sources of the Times of India said that his name is there in the team list of Reliance 1.
